New Porsche 997 Turbo launch control demo 0-100km/h in 3.2s

Would rather a GTR over that I'm afraid, Porsches do nothing for me at all

I'd rather have the Porsche, playstations do nothing for me at all.

Imagine taking your GTR to Tescos, you'd come back and find 14yr old boys rubbing themselves over your bonnet whereas with the Porsche you'd have supermodels wanting your babies.

* this might be a bit tongue in cheek for anyone that might not understand sarcasm

i wouldnt have thought 0-100 in 7 seconds would ever get boring lol

press a couple pedals, one to the floor and shove a lever. may as well be gran turismo, dont you think? compare that to trying to launch something like an f40 and youll see how gay 0-100 in 7s by pushing a couple buttons is

I like your optimism ;)

What the hell is going on here - Muncher asked for clarification on what Scott212 meant as a competitor and it turned into some wierd slating match. What am I missing, or has Scott212 been at the turps again?

I'd love a go in one of those cars - they don't do much for me in the way of supercar "passion", but as a feat of engineering they're pretty damn impressive

One of the most amusing things on the internet is people in comparatively naff old cars (Compared to a Porsche 997 Turbo you can include me in that as well before you start) banging on about how boring the latest supercars would be :D

'Yea yea yea 0-100 in 7 seconds and a 3.8 Turbo with 500bhp? YAWN!!!!!! I dont want one anyway'

I like your sense of humour.

3.2s is absolutely savage though and makes sense given both cars are FWD and govern roughly the same power, weight difference aside. Anyway, I'll be credited for turning this into a classic VS battle, despite the fact everyone is thinking it.

This just gets more and more ridiculous :p

Looks like the usual suspects ie Matt82 and Scott212 are back trolling again:rolleyes:

Seriously both of you need to STFU for once and stop ruining threads with your retarded comments.

Anyhow back on topic...that was pretty awesome and brutal...would have loved to be sat in that as it launched itself.

Porsche 911 turbo will always be one of my fave cars of all time even though there might be better cars out there but what id do to have one of those babies on my driveway.

LOL :)

Too true! I'd bloody have one, even though I couldn't drive it to anywhere near it's potential ;)
