Why not just switch to normal tyres all round?I know its meant to be bad practice, but i need to change two rear tyres and I don't fancy paying 600 quid for 2 runflats. Can I just put some avons on the back while keeping the dunlops on the front?

No, I was thinking of staying with runflats all around, but having avons on the rear instead of Dunlops.

Camskill seem to always be the cheapest, have a look ther mate![]()
Plus runflats can't have a puncture repaired IIRC, making them potentially more expensive should you get a (slow) puncture in the future.. is there really a positive reason for runflats over non-runflats, apart from not needing to carry a spare wheel/change one at the side of the road?

i think runflats last longer, we just changed ours on the 5 a few months ago after 3.5 years and 30,000 miles.
but then it only really ever does motorway miles
