I have some spare money that i got from adverts i have on my website (google adsense etc...) and instead of blowing it on useless stuff, i'm thinking of reinvesting it into adverts of my own.

I tried Facebook ads once, when my site was fairly new, but didn't see much result from it to be honest, so i'm wondering what is a good form of advertising to get my site busier and more importantly the forum.

It's a tech based hardware review website that has video reviews (also featured on youtube) and so far get around 25,000 unique visitors a month (Been going since around January)

Any ideas are welcome :)

Many thanks in advance.

Why not spam everyone on your msn list, put it in your OcUK sig, and start various threads here mentioning the website either directly or indirectly.

Oh...

wow , your site has really improved since the last time i was there

nice job. looks really professional

is that what you do full time?

Spammed my MSN list ages ago, don't really use it that much unless im selling bits and bobs now.

Not allowed it in sig, and the only threads i have created about it, are mainly to do with the design hence them being in the html section.

If you haven't noticed, there is no link in my whole entire original post.

Nop, going through lots of medical stuff at the moment, so am signed off work. This is just a hobby of mine, just seems to be going from strength to strength, now that companies are sending me more bits and bobs to review.

Thanks for your kind words :)

The logo needs to change though

Reasons? Not fitting with rest of the site or??

Making sure everyone is linking your reviews on their product pages?

Indeed, when a review is published, i notify the manufacturer and they link to it.

Also publish the review to over 600 other sites of the same nature, we do the same in return with their news.

Contact techPowerUp! about being in their friends list and having your reviews in their "today's review" lists?

Spoke to a company called UKBanners who have over 33,000 banners for other sites solely in the UK and get UK based traffic.

Started a free thing with them where i display a banner, and for every 10 impressions of one site, my banner gets 8 impressions. Seems fair for free.

If it goes well, they do a pay per impression or pay per click package.
