Another Samsung 2433 has broke

The first one I had arrived with a green line right donw the middle of it. The second one ive had for 3 months, i turned it on tonight and it has a blue line right down one side of the screen. (on white background it shows up as yellow)

What is a good screen that wont break that around £215 in the hope it can be swapped for something better

needless to say im :mad:

There is a 24" (U2410) but it's double the price, same goes the for 2408wfp pretty much double the price.

Correct me if I'm wrong :3

cheers though. Really cant be bothered getting the box for this from home and sending it back to samsung, thats after finding the receipt and anything else i need...to be sent a third which will probably break again.

Just noticed, the line is in the exact same place as it was before.

I believed it has a 3 year on site warranty?, agree the alternative smaller screen with lower res is not suitable!

whats onsite warrenty? Is it i buy a "joes store" and i get sent replacement from "joes store"

No, you contact samsung (usually a subsidary repair company they direct you to) and they come round and either repair it onsite, or take it away and bring it back later. If it cannot be repaired (unlikely), a replacement is offered instead.

What the hell, ive turned it on tonight and there seems to be no problem at all! If (when) it shows up again ill send it back and get a refund. In the mean time, ill keep it as its a good screen ?!?!
