Can a 21 year old woman have a healthy romantic relationship with a 16 year old boy?

:D

Without knowing more about those involved I'd say that the girl must have some issues if she's prepared to settle for a 16 year old and the guy must be one of those lucky ******** I keep hearing about. You know, the type that end up having sex with their teachers and their best friends' mums.

I have to say I know a guy, who's in his 30s right now, he's been with his (much older) girlfriend since he was 16.

He cheats on her constantly.

I don't think the two people in question are actually going out. They're very much drawn together, and they certianly have feelings for each other. They've talked about getting together, but both of them are worried about what other people will say, etc.

I'm really just wanting to learn more about these kinds of situations, as I'm really good friends with one of the involved parties, and I feel that the more I know about this sort of thing, the better a friend I can be.

21 / 2 = 10.5

10.5 + 7 = 17.5

16 < 17.5

No.

Blair - what's with your obsession with what they get up to? Whether its a good thing, bad thing, its up to them.

I read that post already. But being a good friend is being there when it all goes wrong not getting overly involved. Even if its a car crash waiting to happen, its still for them to choose, and its the only way they're going to learn about themselves. Offer an opinion by all means, if asked, but it is an odd situation (particularly for the girl).
