Same here, dispatched today from the £17.95 place. I don't think I've used them for anything before so I'm not sure how long they normally take (i.e. sometimes 3-5 days means probably 1-2 days but covering themself).
 
Same. First time from this bunch myself. I'm hoping for Friday delivery as I think tomorrow is asking too much. Wouldn't be too miffed if it got here Saturday as the new patch would probably be out Friday night/Saturday afternoon sometime. As long as it isn't Sunday or Monday like whenever it was after last year's fiasco I don't mind. :)
 
Guys is there any reason you opt for pre ordering off an online retailer rather than buy off Steam? Just wondering as I'm going to buy off Steam and if I'm at a disadvantage, I know I won't have the physical copy but I'm not fussed.
 
Steam is £12 more expensive for less of a product imo. I'm quite happy to wait for the cheaper product and all the advantages of Steam (activating it on it, patch downloads) with the benefits of a boxed copy :)
 
Well it'll probably be the same price on store. Two retailers were doing it for £17.95 pre-order. Steam are doing it for £29.99, I assume it'll be about the same as that in store.

A mate of mine from Uni, the one who introduced me to FM05 (read hooked me on FM05!) was on a business trip to the US of A the week FM09 came out. So whenever I talk about the problems on release he never knows what I'm on about because he came back the following week when everything was working.

Cheaperer. :p That and I like to have a physical copy to put on my shelf next to my copies of FM05, FM06, FM07, FM08 and, yes you guessed it, FM09! :D

OK Steam might do a cheap deal on FM10 in a few months, perhaps one of their weekend bargains, but the money you might save doesn't really make up for waiting for it cheap on Steam I reckon. :)
 
I just can't get into this at the moment. I'm moving about the interface so slowly because everything has moved.

I miss the old layout. :(
 
Guess what was in the post for me today? Yes, that's right. A letter from Specsavers MK saying its been 4 years since I last had my eyes checked there. Thanks. :rolleyes:
