That is awesome man!! Sooo long ago but I remember! He is doing well.. Actually, it's kinda weird hanging with your uncle but he's really into this stuff as well! Appreciate it.. Some more on eyefinity benchmarking.. Gonna send a friend request.

All that on a Single 5870.
Cant wait to see it when the Eyefinty CF enabled drivers come out.

Yeah man.. I would love to see some support for that before nvidia.. I wonder how nvidia will do with their new line or if it's being released soon.. Would love to run some benchies.
:)

Yep, was a very long time ago. I could easily picture him working on your rig. My mind paints something of a cross between meticulous technician and the brute force and charisma of a roughneck :)

Or maybe time has altered my memory a little and I'm left with a bit of a stereotype!

Bodar,

Any chance you could bench Arma 2 with 5870 crossfire? I can't seem to find this anywhere on the net. TIA :)

Seems that guy "trubritar" has 4 5870's as well. Annoying accent though and he does look a bit of a smarmy git.

Just to let everyone know I dont mean it in a rude way..3dmark is just one of my more recent challenges :) Thanks you guys!!!

Can we say crysis has been finally owned big time..:D courtesy of Bodar.

Starting to show the differences between properly written graphics engines. If you look at the crysis, it's a complete dog. I mean 4x5870s is a hideous amount of processing power. However if the technical approach to writing the effects and general engine architecture for dealing with processing tasks is bad you can see the effect.
This is probably going to be felt the most at this point, simply because game developers are (a) writing and optimising for a single GPU, (b) reusing code and programming concepts/architectures that have been developed over a long time for single GPU.

tHANKS SO MUCH YOU GUYS FOR CHECKING THIS OUT!! It actually took a lot of patience and work to get smooth framerates.. Finally a reality.. By the way.. It was also fun to play.. finally :)

To be honest your rigs sucks, you payed way to much for it your only playing games not rendering a cgi movie

I spent £220 and I can play warhead just fine

the high fps is pointless as you can only see over 60FPS

Why not buy something useful like a car perhaps?

He is a bencher not a gamer & a hobby has nothing to do with being useful.
This is not PC-Wxxxx as many PCs that users have here are way over the top.
If you don't like seeing people with over the top PCs then your on the wrong forum.

I'm just saying whats the point of buying stuff to check how fast it runs, that's like buying a car and only looking at the speed dial there is no point
