Happiness, contentment, a loving husband and to see the most beautiful parts of the earth.
Though really I think the meaning of life is to create life, so I guess I'd need to throw a kid or two into the picture at some point too

Never planning to have kids, doesn't appeal to me. And so, I must find happiness elsewhere, probably in a career I enjoy, in media is appealing to me. Instead of kids one could then leave behind work which has an impact on people, perhaps for many years to come. Realistically, I doubt I'll ever achieve what I want.

Why? How does our procreation benefit anything you stand for? How do humans benefit anything you know?
If you don't procreate knowledge is lost.
Knowledge is indefinite, you're just talking about human knowledge. But human knowledge has no bearing on life, we are surely just subjects of it?
