Macbook pro, won't use headphones anymore, but only in bootcamp XP

Hi guys,

I had the red light problem with my audio jack in, on my macbook pro (the all silver one) I used a toothpick to reset it, everything is fine in macoSX but when i boot into xp i can only use the speakers.

When i plug in headphones in XP, nothing happens. Audio continues to play through the speakers. yet realtek drivers pop up saying i've plugged in headphones!

XP could be output device set wrong.

Have you tried updating to the latest audio drivers from the Realtek website?

Yeah double checked my friend. It's fine as when i play sounds they come out the speakers

it's just when i plug headphones in, the speaker continue to play and theres nothing coming out these working headphones!

I've got the latest bootcamp update which contained drivers for the realtek card
