Windows 64bit Ultimate ? do i need ultimate ?
Raid 0 card ? which one?
extra 5 usb card which one?
Do i need a sound card or is the one onbuilt to the motherboard good enough?

The only item i won't change is the coolmaster Tower which i think is really smart, but i am open to suggestions on any of the above.Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What are you going to use it for? What is your budget for everything? Do you need a monitor? You dont need Windows 7 Ultimate, Home Premium will be fine.

Need to know what you will use it for and what resolution your current monitor supports.

When you have a final spec, give ocuk a call and they will price building it for you, may take them 3-5 days to do it once all th parts are in stock.

Monitor is fairly new "Samsung" don't have access to details at present.
Computer will be used for general pc use, photo editing and a bit of gaming.Usually being used 24/7
If i can have help with my build and does anyone know what overclockers generally charge for building PC's?

Thanks

Seems to be a big budget for what you will use it for.

General use to me = internet and office, any £300 pc will more than do this job.
Photoshop, not an expert on how much of a system hog this is, but i imagine something about £800 would be more than adequate.
Gaming, any £800 pc will play any game at a top resolution just fine.

I hate wasting money and really can't see why you need to spank £1600.

Plenty of threads with people looking i5 gaming machines, any of those would suit your needs.
May want to consider throwing in a ssd hard drive to get a bit more performance.

Done a slightly different spec, try overclocking yourself :)

If your going to spend that much invest in an SSD for operating system & programs. Lightning fast. Even a 64gb could do if you dont use any massive programs.

and silent...

Thanks for the spec RJC, £1430 sounds better than my spec, don't think i can push for the ssd as i am about my max now.Does anyone have a rough idea on how much overclockers charge to build a system??

Windows 7 Home Premium is more than enough for you as stated before.

Raid 0 card ? which one?

Can't answer that...

extra 5 usb card which one?

Do you want a PCI card or just an expansion hub?

And what are you using the USB's for? Mouse and Keyboard or transferring files? TBH, something like This should do you fine.

Do i need a sound card or is the one onbuilt to the motherboard good enough?

I doubt you will need one. Are you going to be doing any recording of music or do you need high fidelity sound? Are you a audiophile?

Thanks

Don't mention it :P

Windows 7 Premium it is then
and the Belkin PCI card is ideal(thanks) just for connecting keyboard, mouse, bluetooth adapter etc, and from what you say, i won't be bothering with the sound card, onboard one is good enough.
Thanks
