Hooray! Good news for haters of DFS ads!

Now if only the could stop the lie of "Guarenteed delivery by Christmas". Went in there 2 years ago in November and wanted to buy a sofa-bed that was marked for guarenteed delivery. Asked what the "guarentee" was and what they would give me if not delivered. The answer was nothing is guarenteed in life and if the sofa was going to be delivered later than christmas I could cancel.

Made me chuckle and walk out.
 
The adverts do annoy the hell out of me with their continual sales.

I'm still waiting for a sofa from them I ordered on the 7th September. :/
 
I HATE sofa adverts. Never mind the fact they're always on 'sale' and always on TV, they are never relevant, there's always some random thing that's nothing to do with the subject matter. They are just so badly made they make Safestyle UK adverts seem appropriate.

Good riddance IMO.
 
will it stop their terrible advertisements of people dancing infront of the sofas instead of...you know sitting on them? its like the ask jeeves ads nowadays where people dance infront of a search box
 
I went in to buy a sofa bed the other week and the guy said "you are in luck there is a sale on"

To which I replied, when is there not a sale on.
 
There's an easy way to avoid adverts. Watch the BBC! *hides behind piles of TV Licence application forms* :)
