Halloween...can't be bothered.

Heading to a bar/club in a local town where everyone is going fancy dress. I understand people not getting involved, but the people who bitch and moan about "Blah blah blah American holiday blah blah blah it's for kids" need to relax and accept that some of us enjoy dressing up in fancy dress and having a laugh at Halloween.
 
Don't see the point myself.

I never understood why some retailers use Halloween to justify having a big sale.
 
Can't be bothered? Yes

Will use it as an excuse to party? Yes

Think me and some mates will hit town and hit on some witches... yum :) :p

It's a great time like most events where people are more willing to go out and have a good time. Treat it like a normal Friday/sat out but with more attendees.
 
Can't be arsed to find an outfit or pay for it. I'll just go out as myself and use the saved costume money on more alcohol.

I don't spend most of my money on clothes not to wear them.

It's not Halloween I mind tbh, I just despise fancy dress in general.
 
last night was good, the theme was scarey school uniforms in liquid nightclub halifax

simple, school uniform cover it in blood, no need to pay for outfit, :)

was a great night out, and here are some of the results

I didn;t even know it was Halloween :o

Although i better load up the Air soft MP5 and dig out the gas mask to shoot trick or treaters.

I've never been bothered really, this year is no different.

I've been informed that me and my housemate will be hosting a horror/thriller film night tomorrow though...which I don't mind too much as I like films and its minimal effort. :)
 
some people need to lighten up. mainly the people who refuse to open the door for kids

its a bit of fun for them and its only once a year.

defiantly nothing like the look on the kids face when they see you in a gas mask :P




And absolutely nothing like the look of terror in the parents face when they see a very realistic Mp5 or pistol pointing at their child :D


I love welsh people, as soon as they realise there's a laugh, sweets are given and everyone leave happy, in England i bet they'd call the police :(

Aye, luckly everybody in the street is social, odd one or two that are hermits and refuse to be social. Think its dieing out more, when I was a kid you would see dozens of kids going around last year we had only 5 kids that came to our house.

I think a lot of it is people worrying these days that everyone is a paedo...shame really as the whole idea is quite a fun one (trick or treating I mean, not being a paedo).
