Awesome news, my mate has been on the reserve waiting list for Top Gear tickets for over a year and has finally got 4 tickets and is taking me as well!!! Woohooo, do you think if I wear my brawn jacket and Jenson cap I won't get picked on by Clarkson? :D
 
I've been on the reserve list for like 3 years now, I was sent an email before the last season saying i can book tickets but it will be pure luck whether I get picked to go. I wasnt lucky enough but I've just got another email recently for the new series basically saying the same thing.

You get asked to pick a date, and how many tickets you want then you get put on another list where x ammount of people will be picked to actually go and see them

I would check with your friend to find out if he's actually been picked to go, or whether he's just been given the chance to "reserve" tickets on the off chance he gets picked

he's been on it for a year so I guess not :)

Can't wait, it will be on a wednesday night but unconfirmed as to what date in November yet...
 
i just got sent an email the other day actually asking when i wanted to go...i selected the first date in novemeber. my mate says cahnces are that i wont get them anyway, think ive only been on the reserved lists for udner a year

I've had the same email, basically that i'm shortlisted and that if i don't hear either way within 10 days of my chosen date that i've been unsuccessful, i chose 4 tickets for 25th Nov - we'll have to wait and see.
 
Hmm has anyone else noticed how a vast amount of the crowd are always women? clearly the ratio of men who'd want to go compared to women would be huge ...so protending your a woman and wearing a wig would surely enhance your chances dramatically? ;)










No i'm not being serious :D
 
They definitely put the ladies near the front now which makes it look like the audience is mainly women, and who can blame them, would rather that than seeing someone like me just looking gormless and scratching my nuts :p

I put in for some tickets but I'm not expecting anything, would be nice though!
