Yas Marina Circuit - Abu Dhabi Prix 2009 - Race 17/17

Might have more fuel than them if anything!
Hamilton was 3 tenths up on vettel in Q2 and 6 tenths up in Q3, so either Hamilton is lighter (over Vettel) or Vettel didn't get the best out of his car in Q3.
My guess is Vettel didn't get the best out of his car.

Or the weight of the fuel effected the red bull more, or the lower track temp had less effect on the mechanical grip of the mclaren.. or... or... or... or...

That was a stunning time by Hamilton to grab Pole in Q3.

Weights shall be interesting, as will Brawns. I reckon they're running heavy ;)

Ironic that whilst the British GP is in danger, we're at a new track with no soul, although the track does indeed look good. With British car, British track side sponsorship (RBS), British drivers at the top, British engineers and even 350 British track marshals, with a British race director..... !!

As for the race .... Track is very impressive, although I'm not a fan of some of the things there. Looking to be a god race tomorrow, Hamilton was VERY fast! Hoping Button can do well on his 'parade GP'. Bad luck Ferrari and Renault!

Hoping Williams improve also!

so a year of qual done heres the pole position results-

Button 4
Vettel 4
Hamilton 4
Trulli 1
Webber 1
Alonso 1
Fishicella 1
Barrichello 1

I may get round to trying to make a average position figure but i dont think it would say much asides from how slow the mclaren was til the half way point.
