24" is small now, want a 27"

Was looking at the Dell2709 does anyone have this and is it a good monitor?

i feel my two ultrasharp 20inchers are small now. cant fault the Dell Ultrasharps IMO. however the samsung 24inchers are good also. cant remem the model name...all black body (no red) because i heard they were the rubbish ones

Wait, that screen is being phased out and the IPS version is coming in at a similar price point hopefully. It's also expected to support a higher res than the 2709 and should use the same panel as the new 27" imac.

I have a 24" atm, I'm thinking sitting infront of a 27" would kill my eyes right?

I am currently looking at a 2707 27" from about 2 feet away and all is good

I did have a 3008 30" for a while and it totally fills your field of view as in too much information for the brain to process!

Dell S2409 from Dell 2408WFP (it annoyed me). 24'' is just toooo small for movies really.
