I've been given numerous bottles of this stuff in promotions and it's basically very weak squash allegedly containing vitamins. Does anyone actually buy this stuff? Or maybe I should refine the question to: does anyone actually get suckered into this sort of marketing? Does the public actually need a product like this to make them think they are being healthy by drinking it. This should be compared to Victorian quack health tonics like radium water.

Glass of tap water and a sunday roast will give you 10 million times more stuff than that **** water :)

no, i dont buy it, its rubbish youll wee it out if you haven eaten something. have you seen how much sugar they have?

I think this is the stuff I see in Uni vending machines. Unfortunately, it probably encourages students to eat poorly then "make up for it" by having something like this, which won't work at all.

The obsession of marketing every single food product as being good for your health is one of my pet peeves. REALLY ****es me off.

Honestly if I made some kind of food product I wouldn't lie about it: it aint going to magically make you feel better, it aint gonna make you live longer, and it aint gonna let you run further, but it does taste ****ing nice!

I would rather lose money than indulge in that BS.

On a completely un-related note I remember seeing recently a stall in a mall selling bottled water that they were claiming was more than just water. They were using some fancy branding like "H2O2" (Yes I know that's Hydrogen Peroxide, it was similar to that but I can't remember what).

Think it was when I was in Canada or the states..... anyone heard of it or know anything?

I think it was a spoof or setup type program. Showing how many tards are around.

I only buy bottled water out here because I can put it in the fridge and they told us don't drink the water until everything is decontaminated, so I think I will always buy bottled water here (also it costs something like 30p for 1.5 liter bottles out here).

Tap water is *just* drinkable here if it's fresh. Leave it to stand for more than about 30 minutes and it tastes like pond water.

I tried Vitamin Water when my local ice rink shut and they were giving away bottles to the figure skaters. It tasted just like a soluble vitamin c tablet in water, very chalky and not easy to drink.
