Iconic 80's songs

I has hoping for an 80's techno album but struggled because I'd be losing too many other classics so maybe I'll have to do two albums of rock pop/techno and essentials lol

so far I have this list:

Don't you want me - The Human League
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
Cars - Garry Numan
Power of Love - Huey Lewis and the News
Model - Kraftwerk
I just died in you arms tonight - Cutting crew
Another Brick in the wall - Pink Floyd (not too sure about this, would prefer 'Pigs, three little ones')
Keep on Loving you - REO Speedwagon
I love rock and roll - Joan Jett and the blackhearts
Total eclipse of the heart - Bonnie Tyler
Every breathe you take - The Police
Wake me up - WHAM
West end girls - Pet Shop Boys
Broken Wings - Mr. Mister
Living on a prayer - Bon Jovi
Here I go again on my own - White Snake
Where ever you go - the Calling
karma chameleon - Culture Club
With or Without you - U2
Heaven is a place on earth - Belinda Carlisle ( might remove this, too cheesy because of that advert :( )
Need you tonight - INXS
Rush Rush - Debbie Harry
Girls on film - Duran Duran
Nothings Gonna stop us now - Jefferson Starship
Survivour - Eye of the tiger (too Rocky?)
99 Red Balloons - Nena
Don't you (forget about me) - simple minds
Head over heals - Tears for fears
Take on Me - Aha
Never gonna give you up - Rick Astley (had too)

Other that have been mentioned I'm not too sure of from the name so I'll have to youtube to remind me.

How's that so far?

The Final Countdown by Europe is a must.

EDIT: Also

Party Fears Two - The Associates, brilliant choon.

It's not got a strong 80's vibe, but Piano Man by Billy Joel is a brilliant song.

You utter swines, all of you.

I've spent the last 15 minutes singing an assortment of "More than a feeling", "Here i go again (on my own)" and "Poison".

Earth, Winds & Fire - Let's Groove.

Fairground Attraction - Perfect

Phil Collins - In the air tonight (come on the 80's WAS Phil Collins)!!!
T'Pau - China in your hand
Queen - A Kind of Magic

couple of covers:

Bangles - Hazy shade of winter (more for the performance of the camera man on Wogan hahaha, a unforgettable moment in my youth :D)

Bruce Springsteen - War (live)

God, don't get me going. I didn't read other replies so apologies if I'm repeating other posters. Here's 16 songs that you absolutely require. You will most likely encounter them in Vice City too.

2. Africa - Toto
3. Photograph - Def Leppard
4. Broken Wings - Mister Mister
5. Died in your arms tonight - Cutting Crew
6. Hazard - Richard Marx
7. Alone - Heart
8. Tell it to my Heart - Taylor Dane
9. White Snake - Is this Love
10. Laura Branigan - Self Control

13. Everybody wants to rule the World - Tears For Fears (iirc)
14. Pride - U2
15. It's my Life - Talk Talk
16. Fine Young Cannibals -- She Drives Me Crazy

I can most likely get this list up to 200 but you get the idea.

+1

I'd say you need a prince track in there too, Purple Rain etc...

Party like it's 1999 which I remember on a school trip.

Onto the house:
The first UK house... T-Coy - Carino (1987)
M.A.R.S. - Pump Up The Volume
Mel & Kim - Irresistible
Neneh Cherry - Buffalo stance

And ..... K L F - America: What Time is Love

Get in! 1989 :D
