Totally stuck on Stalker

I bought Stalker the other day as it was on offer and i've finally ready a point i cant get past. I've found the documents from the X18 lab but i have no way out as the screenshot below will show.

Can anyone help me out?

Maybe the person on the otherside can be coaxed out by some flowers and a box of choccies.

Actually I think it's you (the player) that is holding the door - and since the door is an automatic door - you're effectively holding the door closed. Let go of it and it should open

If that's the lab bit whith the crazy things in the jars one of them escaped and you need to kill it, should be a "cloud" thing floating around the room shoot it lots but dont let it touch you.

You have to kill that thing that keeps setting you on fire before it opens .
