I'm thinking about ordering a Gigabyte 5850 ... whats the typical turn around on these at the moment from order to delivery, are there any brands that are currently coming through quicker than this one?

Hi Fatboy, I spoke to someone in sales support regarding a pending order of mine and I've been told you're the man to speak to about the 5870s. I'm waiting for one to come in to complete a finance order which was put in on the 14th of October and without this equipment i38 will be quite boring for me!
Do you have an ETA of when the 5870's are coming in? I've been told you should be getting about 60 odd either this week or the beginning of next week.

I placed an order a week last Sunday (OC906375) before you posted that there were 55 spare Sapphire 5850s. I'm still yet to receive one and was told I was allocated a card on Friday but it then got sent to someone else.
I'd really like to understand why this was when I already paid for it?
Sam says it'll be weeks before anymore 5850s come in. Absolutely great when I rang up twice last week (speaking to Linzi and James) and was assured my order would ship on time and consequently wasted a days holiday.

To be honest I do not have a clue what happened to your order, I will have a look into it in detail. Good news is I have found an XFX 5850 I will ship this today for you if this is ok ? Sorry again for the problems and inconvenience caused.

I have no firm ETA on any Asus 5850 part. However I do have 1 x VTX 5850 and 1 x powercolor 5850 I can change over for if you like.
I'll hold out for a few days on the Asus Fatboy.. my G.Skill memory still isnt in yet .. Cheers dude

Sorry to whine if thats what its called, rang yesterday about the last item im waiting for on my order which is you guessed a XFX 5850 card, yes they were on pre order when i ordered im not complaining. The nice person on the phone told be definatly before end of week, i ring today now im told more than likey be this week or maybe next... Ok i understand there in high demand thats not a problem but I like some more idea of where i am on the long list, weather i should just order a different card for now, really want to build my new system up for the weekend/monday at the very latest.

Oh and another thing. I would suggest not putting pre-builds as 10+ in stock, when you know all the parts are not in stock yet.
