Japanese 'brown tea' smells familiar!

My housemate, who's Japanese often drinks this brown tea after eating. She gave some complicated Japanese name for it (which I obv can't understand) but said that it's commonly drunk after eating. "Brown tea"
The thing is, I keep getting wafts of it and it smells like weed!

Has anyone else encountered this stuff? She's not the type to do drugs or anything...but it makes me wonder

Why? Has it got acid in it?

I've been stoned for the past 15 years and I've never once been chased by a giant pink rat :confused:

My wife drinks Chinese Feiwan tea, smells just like good weed to me!
(not that I know what weed smells like of course)

Got any info on this stuff? I still reckon it has that kind of soft herbal smell that weed has. It's that when I caught a wiff of the stuff I remembered what my g/f halls accommo smelled like when I was at uni!
