Hi,

Rather annoyingly I had these channels setup on my Win7 RC build. Being a smarty pants I didn't save the bookmark I had to a nice guide which explain how to do the registry hacks and get the channels working. Yes I'am a muppet.

Can anyone link me to a guide?

All I wanna do is setup freeview normally and add ONLY BBC HD and ITV HD off the sat feed, is this possible? If I let it suck all the channels off the sat I get an extra 1000, which I really don't need.

It might take a little while to do but you can easily disable channels you don't want and merge the freeview and freesat versions of the same channel, useful when you want to watch one channel and record another.
I have a freesat card and windows7, bbchd just turns up and works in a scan, I haven't managed to get itvhd working yet though.

i have had them both working before. Annoyingly atm my 2 tuners will not work together in win7, tehy worked ok in the RC. When I have this sorted, i'll post back with instructions for ITV HD. Need to get BBC HD and ITV HD working for the world cup!!!! :)

can someone tell me a good freeview card please low profile as i got a media centre case.

ocuk seem to have just one brand which is odd . cost not an issue but i would liek something that has hd channels

Simples , installed card , installed driver
Installed gb pvr configured epg settings , scanned channels with card
and all was well.

To get iTV HD to work in windows 7 you will need to do a couple of things, Change a value in the regisrty, download a codec pack and remember as iTV HD shows up as a radio channel it is named 10510,To get it to work you will have to toggle between BBC HD and iTV HD quickly.

Registry edit:
Click on the start button bottom right of windows 7 and select "RUN",
type in the "RUN" dialog box "regedit" without the quotation marks.
then search in the registery for
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Media Centre\Settings\TVConfig\fAllowDvbsMHEG' to a value from 0. to 1.
Codec pack

hold on guys

has anyone got DVB-S working in media centre?

I've got both a DVD-T card (hauppauge) and a DVB-S card (compro)

I've managed to get BBC HD working on the compro card within DVBDream but can you really get BBC HD and ITV HD working in media centre?

Yes you can, I have both BBC HD and ITV HD working in Win 7 (64 bit) Mediacenter, using a Hauppauge WinTV Nova HD S2 (for freesat), also using a Terratec Ciongery 2400i DT in it, This may be helpful for you...

thanks brilliant just scanning for tv channels it picked up both tuners
hope I get to see the same channels as DVBdream did

in win7 its easy, had erm working in vista too with a reg hack and a TV pack install.

You can also get encrypted Sky channels working with the TM600 box im ordering tommorrow.

You can only het BBC and ITV HD via a sky disk/freesat dish. I have Sky multiroom in my room so have the satalite leads running into my room so all I do is screw them into my DVB-S tuner and bingo!

:O really? do tell xD

This was the whole point of my thread, I lost my bookmarks when I formatted.

Let me google that for you hang on

oh or do you mean using the TM600? or dreambox? I am not going to discuss it on here as they can also be used for illegal activity and I don't wanna get banned from OCUK. I'm purely going to use one to get Sky encrypted channels ( I legally bought erm) on my PC, may not even bother and just buy a technomate HD box and plug a HDD into it.
