HP Pavilion dv6-2020 - good deal?

I can get this spec for around £360 with a discount scheme in work. Does this sound like a good deal?

This would be for a general use laptop for my sister for uni. Sound ok?

Spec seems more than adequate for general use, plus these are much better built than similar priced entry level laptops. Bargain!

Thanks for that. I got my bro an hp laptop last year but cannot remember what range it is. Don't think its dv6 but seems very well built indeed. Not sure if I'd buy anything else other than HP at this price but just wanted to double check here. I think they go for around £460ish so its not too bad a saving.

hp dv6000 series motherboards are known to fail, but if you can get a extended warranty it'll be a good buy.

Maybe I am wrong but are the dv6000 and dv6 ranges not totally different things?

You're correct, they are completely different ranges. All the new HP DV ranges are DV 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 with a 4 digit model code.
