**The Dragon Age Origins Thread **

We should make our own review website.

We could have a panel of 8 or 10 reviewers, set a date for each to submit a review (or go ahead without them) and then create a conclusion based on everyone's opinions. Do it for all releases of course.

To be honest, surely that's the only way to review a game? You've got a bunch of people, with a bunch of playstyles, playing on a bunch of different configurations and setups... you're much mroe likely to find bugs and problems.

Seriously, it's actually a good idea.

Isnt that what gaming forums are about? Like this actual thread

Darn that could have been my final year project at university, too bad I've already started :(

It's an awesome idea that I'd seriously look into in a couple of months.

I also think this is a good idea and would be willing to offer my services for such an endeavor.

I'm having an awful time resisting a pre-order for this game as I have extended my Aion sub and seem to put all my spare time into that, but any Bioware game is worthy of my cash ... to make matters worse I got a £10 off voucher from EA Store for pre-ordering NFS Shift^ !!! arrrg damn the gaming gods !!!

it's a good idea, but from reading through this thread and many others I wouldn't want a review written by someone who has illegally obtained 'said' game, which of late seems quite rampant on OcUK  (not directed at you)

In the eyes of the law, you'd be arrested if caught, because you have illegally downloaded a game.

Now as far as I can remember hearing about pirating games/software. Its illegal to upload/share. Not download (I saying download it not use it.

But back to the game, looks good. I will point my dad in its direction.

And I would love to see more game be longer. And not just full of eye candy.

DC, maybe you should set up another thread and we can all talk about it in their. Might be taking this thread a little off topic ;)

You guys go ahead and make a thread. I have no expertise in such things and have issues with basic HTML code. There are a few problems that spring to mind that would need to be ironed out but we can battle those out in another thread.

I can't seem to upload my bloody character.

Been trying for a few days now.

Says uploading Info then nothing.

Or it flashes uploading info then just times out.

This is really annoying since I am logged in but it wont do a damn thing

Well I got the digital deluxe version from EA store in the end, that £10 off voucher someone posted made it a good deal. I've pre-loaded the game but it won't let me pre-load the 2 quest DLCs, anyone else have that? Maybe we can't dl them til the game unlocks? Only got one serial in the conformation email, said the extra codes will be posted on release but not sure if that is just for the exclusive items or the DLC quests.

Anyway, the purchase/pre-load went smooth as silk, no issues there. First time I've used EA store, so after hearing all the horror stories about it I was quite surprised :)

As a side note, that social network site is a trainwreck. What was wrong with old forum? A bit silly to beta a new site so close to the release of the game.

The bonus content says - Releasing in: 1 Day 8 hours - same as the game

Yes but I could pre-load the game, thought I could do the same for the DLC while I was at it. No biggy tho, they are small files by the looks of it.
