Just had a bid accepted for David Villa....£30m upfront £20m over 48months, that still sounds a hell of a lot![]()
Thats because it is a hell of a lot![]()
Yes, but it is David Villa, who is normally a lot more. And you just paid shy of £30m for a GK, you can talk!![]()
oooh touche
It's expensive, if you think he's going to be worth it buy it.
If you've been given 50 million to spend, is that the best way to spend it? On one player ?![]()
Well, would have £20m left.
Forgot he was 30 years old too, might think about getting someone younger. It is tempting though
Need a VERY good DL, and a replacement for Riquelme, although I do have Vukcevic/Renato Augusto atm, and a backup AML.
Edit: was £20m upfront, £30m over 48months.
Well buy someone a bit younger?
For 50 million you're not going to get much return from a 30 year old.
Strengthen the team / squad, without getting a striker then splash out what you have left on a good forward?
Playing Fulham in the League Cup at Old Trafford.
Went 2 up pretty quickly, but Fulham really came back towards the back end of the second half. Johnson grabbing a goal in the 80th minute.
Dempsey was very good, set up the goal for Fulham.
Rossi had 8 shots on target and Schwarzer was in fine form. Rossi grabbed a third in the 90th minute.
Got Blackburn in the next round of the League Cup.
ooohh! I'd have Aguero over Villa, but it's still a lot of money![]()
