Just had a bid accepted for David Villa....£30m upfront £20m over 48months, that still sounds a hell of a lot :(

It's expensive, if you think he's going to be worth it buy it.

If you've been given 50 million to spend, is that the best way to spend it? On one player ? :p

Well, would have £20m left.

Forgot he was 30 years old too, might think about getting someone younger. It is tempting though :p

Need a VERY good DL, and a replacement for Riquelme, although I do have Vukcevic/Renato Augusto atm, and a backup AML.

Well buy someone a bit younger?

For 50 million you're not going to get much return from a 30 year old.

Strengthen the team / squad, without getting a striker then splash out what you have left on a good forward?

Playing Fulham in the League Cup at Old Trafford.

Went 2 up pretty quickly, but Fulham really came back towards the back end of the second half. Johnson grabbing a goal in the 80th minute.

Dempsey was very good, set up the goal for Fulham.

Rossi had 8 shots on target and Schwarzer was in fine form :mad:. Rossi grabbed a third in the 90th minute.

Yeah, Johnson/Dempsey are regular starters for me, still. Dempsey gets bags of assists, starting to think about replacing him, or at least bringing in competition. My squad atm is a very mixed bunch, some brilliant, some ok, some **** :p
