I dont know why I do, but I still have a copy of Dangerous' 'Ring Trip 2005 lurking on my file server. Probably for reference of his video camera related posts. I thought I'd have a quick flick through. Towards the end there's a section at the 'Ring, in the car park. A Red FD RX7 goes past (13.50) and is followed for a few seconds.

I did a double take. Paused, rewound... that's my car! Definitely my car! Two owners ago, four years ago, but its my FD! :D

So Dangerous - thanks!!

:D

Mmmm... FD.

Amanda said she saw my old CTR on the motorway yesterday. I asked if it was being driven like the driver was on fire and if it wasn't I'm disappointed.

Don't tell me the advert said "car has never been tracked"?
Didn't buy it off the guy driving it on the video, bought it off the guy he sold it to - who's a friend. Once sold to the friend it did end up requiring a rebuild pretty early on though, and I know all the history I need to.

I didn't ever imagine that I'd find something like this, its quite amusing.

I miss those videos :) Loved the one of the race between TomO in the M5 + roadmap and Dave in the Zaffy + Sat Nav, and the one trying to pull slides in the M5 on wet grass.

I have the worst memory of anyone I know and if I have met someone with a worse memory then I've forgotten about it... that aside one memory that still sticks in my mind as if I saw it yesterday is seeing TomO's M5 beached in the mud, rear wheels spinning and TomO stood next to it in one of the vids :p :D

My current car made several visits to the garage where dad works before I owned it.

I know they lost the master key and red keys, resulting in a brand new code and engine ECUs being fitted not so long ago. I also know the complete history of work on a commonly troublesome part of the engine loom.

My car is on Google street view somewhere.

Does anyone have the route from the southern mini-meet in October 08 (maybe September)?
