hey. i recently joined orange about 3 weeks ago, but i received this email from orange today:

We’ve been trying to call you but haven’t been able to get hold of you.

We were ringing to say that the news you’ve been waiting for has arrived. That’s right, now you can reserve your iPhone with Orange. All you have to do is simply visit your local Orange shop to find out more about our tariff options.

How come it says I am entitled to an upgrade? Im not even into month 1 of my contract yet.

Might just be case of the system droped the ball it happens. Happens a lot when people join through indirect dealers e.g cpw. phones 4 u etc..there systems are slow and sometimes we dont get the info for weeks

The might let you upgrade as your contract is new, they probably think that consumers think it's unfair on people who just took out new contracts then all of a sudden the iphone is announced for orange hence offering it you on an upgrade. Just give them a call and find out?

I got the same email through and my upgrade will be in november 2010 lol!

I can save your the trouble for that call, no they dont think it unfair that you just upgraded its just a automated mistake. besides you cant upgrade a new connection for a min of 3 months
