Better have the old guy telling the kids defacing the poster...
If your going to do it.. do it right !

One of my fav tv shows when i was a kid. Gonna get mother in law to record em on direct tv, and ill watch em at xmas when i visit.

That old guy in the original was brilliant. I can still remember the look on his face as the UFO's arrived and settled over America. He knew what was going on right away!

You do realise that it's when people use "other means" to watch programs it is a heavy contributor to when a program is cancelled?
Because the viewing figures are screwed.

But of course just "one person" using other means won't hurt (earlier poster in thread).
Of course lots of "one person" soon adds up.

Like the music industry TV companies need to get with the times.

I don't watch Live TV I record via SKY. The internet allows us to see things going on in the USA, the same people who can't wait to have products shipped from the US because they are not available here see no reason to wait for long winded negotiations for UK companies to get series over here.

I being an Ex-pat I have very strong views on geographical restrictions on media far from creating jobs it's costing millions in lost revenues for all media companies be it books, music, TV shows, games or movies.

So sorry until those responsible for publishing licences realise that due to internet the world is a global family and there are no country restrictions and update the way they do business people finding illegal ways to have contraband goods will continue. Perhaps if enough "one persons" exist TV production companies will start arguing for global digital distribution rights for their shows instead of segmenting the rights to 1000s of smaller regions.

Perhaps it's aired outside of the UK in other countries. Luckily with Satelite TV we are no longer constrained to UK borders when it comes to viewing.

Of course some think that we are still restricted to what our aerial provides, many EU countries broadcast FTA channels via satellite. And many forum users live outside the UK as well.

But I fully understand OCUK's stand on discussion as it avoids all grey areas.

All I know is that from the trailer, looks good, but initial reports from friends in the states (assuming we are allowed to have friends in america, where it HAS been broadcast), were generally "meh.. okay, but not 'must see'"
