There's a google box on the top right corner in the browser anyway, using a search engine as the homepage is as useful as having none at all.

About 95% of the time. I don't want to click on the search-bar to search for something. I want to be able to type in a search as soon as the browser loads up.

My actual homepage is set to http://www.google.co.uk but I never get to see that page as Opera Speeddial is set to show up when I open a new tab and from there to search google I just type the following into the address bar: "g [search term]" - Works a treat!

Blank is MANDATORY in Inter**** Explorer as the whole app jams till it renders the page, thus making you wait like a tit if the net/site is down/slow.
