Bugatti Veyron TYRE Question

According to the original article the tyres are indeed £6325 each and must be replaced every 2500miles. Which does work out at £23500 a set.
The wheels (which need to be replaced every 7500miles eek ) are only £29,000 a set though, not £60000 as previously stated...

...even so in 7500miles your bug will cost around £104900 just in the boot department.

cant be true surely....

tyres i can because rubber deteriorates/degrades over time and when the car is capable of well over 200mph VW has got to protect their own backsides....even tho most owners wont even press it past 100 or leave their heated garage.

isnt it true that the Veyron hasnt made VW any money. every1 they sell is at a loss same as the first Focus RS

Not exactly true that, they made a loss on the first cars iirc when you include design costs etc, but once those had been paid back less and less loss get made on everyother car, no idea if its into profit yet.
