Hi guys anyone considering buying one of these ION 330HT-BD the second generation asrock 330 media player ?

Looks pretty good! One of the main things stopping me buying one was lack of wifi so thats sorted with that haha. Coming with the remote is a pretty nice extra too

Yes with wifi now but still confusion about if it will have an in built Ir for remote or not.

Depends how greedy uk resellers are but i hope no more than £230.

haha, yea, the current one is around £350 with the blu ray drive. They may just release it as a replacement, would make sense to me

yes sorry i was thinkink of the one without blu ray drive for £230 lol. Im not really after the blu ray version as i dont buy blu ray films.

wish this would appear for sale.... though dont know whether to get this when it is available to buy or replace my samsung nc10 with a asrock g22 as they seem to have appeared on asrocks website ...just not found them in a shop anywhere.

Another similar HTPC is the new ASUS Eee Box EB1501, its smaller has a dvd burner instead of blu ray drive.

But ASRock has a nice remote but a little bulky for the living room IMO.
