Creatine

i was on crea for 3 months. came off a month sgo, no noticable changes in my size/any loss of strength/lactic build up.

But non the less, i'll be back on it after xmas :p placebo *** (for the win, curious as to why thats censored :o)

I've taken Creapure before and Mono and the Creapure seemed to work better for me (not sure if that was a placebo effect or not!). I found that my workouts had a little more intensity as I was able to push out a couple more reps. When i'm on an 'off' cycle I notice the gym sessions seem less intense. I defo noticed a 'plumping' effect when taking it tho and I tend to drink 3+ litres a day of water.

Creatine is fine- There is only one way to tell if it "works" for you, and that's to try it.

More importantly though Nige01010 haven't I read that you haven't been training long at all (<6 months springs to mind?). Surely you don't feel you have reached the best you can be naturally in such a short amount of time. If you really must go down that route why not do it properly and just get some test?http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/member.php?u=84698

Hey have only just seen this post :)

Well a good friend has suggested it would help me hugely on the way to gain decent size and mass I’ve being training now for around 4 months going to the gym 6 days a week and I have changed massively I started at around 68/69kg now am around the 76/77 mark :)

I’m 24 with no health defects at all so I can’t imagine it doing my body any harm? Would you not recommend doing a cycle of this?

I'm not sure on the rules in regard to Pro-hormone discussion mate so I won't go into details, but no I would not recommend a cycle of any PH especially if you have only been training for 4 months (even though you have gained a good amount of weight).

Train hard, eat clean, rest well and hold out for a few years see where you can get naturally would always be my advice. But if you have already started ask FF whether it is ok to discuss and keep us updated :)

Ok lets wait for FF :D But ive being on it a week today so will keep you updated if the nod from the boss is ok to talk about it :)

Not keen on such discussions here. Sorry lads.

There are more suitable forums for such things out there - this isn't really the place to discuss it, certainly as it can have health implications.

My personal opinion? Gain more naturally, and give it 3-4 years before even contemplating anything which plays with your hormones.

No problem :)

You're either a non responder, or you weren't taking it properly. :)

was taking it with 'met-rx' size up shakes (came in the shake), this stuff helped me gain 20lb within a few months. Since coming off of it, and doing it the regular way. Upto 183~ now, 154 at the start of the year! (obviouslly not all lean, i've a fair bit of puppy fat around my love handles :) hehe

If you were new to the gym it was no doubt partially down to that, and probably the potential water retention creatine offers. whilst creatine does have beneficial effect it's not a magic powder - just like whey protein isn't.

yea i see what you're saying, but i'd been 'working out' weight wise for a good year or so before (no results, as i was determined to stay at 11stone at the fear of being 'fat'), and had no concept of weight gain/bulk/cut etc.

Its odd to think it doesnt affect some people at all, as you said non-responders !!
