If so, from the 11th of November RPU officers have the power to sieze vehicles with out of date Vehicle Excise Licences.

So make sure you don't drive without tax ;)

I thought this was always the case... Case the car crushing adverts?

Was quite weird actually I just got my renewal form through the post today, I was wondering if I could go a month without paying for no other reason other than to say **** *** to the dvla and our government who think that it's worse to pollute the world with CO2 than battery nasties.

Thought the same
seen them doing it on those police programs on sky , they was in slough sitting in a camera van and anybody who came past with no tax it was good bye car

They didnt crush em though it was a big fine loss of car money for the recovery truck ect
could get the car back as soon as it was taxed again :)

Well yeah, but the law broken isn't one generally enforced by them (police).

It'll be cuts elsewhere. But yes, it won't make much difference to non payers on the roads.

Yeah. If its changed its went to the DVLA, thats why the police are enforcing.

He he i'm a bit rusty on stuff like this ive only been pulled once in the last god knows how many years

And that was the police wanting to know why i killed a busa :D:p the copper who pulled me rode aswell , ended up chatting for half hour :)
