**The Dragon Age Origins Thread **

Struggling a lot to choose a race and character type that i like.

Warriors imo are very bland, you can have enough points to spec into 2 weapon types, but heavy armour makes you use more stamina.

Rogues are currently something i'm enjoying more, but still i dont know what to choose.

Restarted the game around 5+ times.

just play as an elf or a dwarf or summit. Are there any wizards in the game?
 
Well i did start as a Dalish elf archer but that seemed utterly underpowered so i think I'm going to go for a dual wield rouge city elf, as the back storey for that sounds awesome.


Time for some dual stabby stabby revenge baby :D
 
Playing as a Mage. Currently bumping Magic skill up as much as possible and picking offensive and healing spells.

Party management is really annoying so I'm relying on my character to deal with most of the bad guys.

As said above the lack of 'my' voice is REALLY annoying in conversations.
 
This is defiantly an RPG in the vein of BG and the original fallouts.

Scamming drunks out of wedding presents :D
 
im having trouble decding who i want in my party as it is. I have morrigan, alistair, lelia (sp?) and wynn. I almost always go for alistair instead of lelia but use her for her lockpicking skills when needed. I just wish you could have one more person in your party. Tried to make alistair a tank but my main char can take far more damage than him and deal more too, he feels useless. Archers are useless. Mages are insanely powerfull as ae dual wield warriors.

I think i love morrigan :P Awesome personality, shes only ever whined once and im playingt the good role. Got her up to 100 love just after redcliff and the mage tower. Dont know what you guys are complaing about :)

Tried Human mage but got a tad bored of him quickly, my dwarven Rogue seems like more fun for now, both at the same part of the story so I'll flick between them :)

Poor wee Dwarf starting story was far more interesting too.

Well the premium content includes a playable character that is integrated into the main storyline, a new set of armor and items etc. Would be pretty useless to unlock them all at the end of the game!

As its a long thread havent read thorugh it all.

Im using 2 5870s when playing this i get a slight stuttering jerky frames when i have vsync on,is this the game itself or crossfire isnt optimized well?.

i havet tryed one card yet,has anyone else had this problem?

runs silky smooth on my 4870x2.
