**The Dragon Age Origins Thread **

Anyone else think that enemy casters are far too powerful, in a fight with 10 mobs and 1 caster and i keep getting owned, cant go straight for caster as the fighters attack me, cant take out the fighters 1st as the mage keeps casting fireball and lighting killing everyone.

Have you guys seen any sites mentioning if there is a graphics config that can be edited?

Im playing on my laptop and with textures at medium I have to keep swapping between medium and low graphics depending on the scene, and it would be great if I could add in a few but not all of the medium settings.

As its a long thread havent read thorugh it all.

Im using 2 5870s when playing this i get a slight stuttering jerky frames when i have vsync on,is this the game itself or crossfire isnt optimized well?.

just me or does morrigan sound like Aeryn Sun from farscape?

I believe that is correct, spotted Kate Mulgrew (Janeway ,Voyager) and Dominic Keating (Reed, Enterprise) so far I think... they sound exactly like them.

However none of their IMDB pages suggest they've done Voice over for the games.

Been playing all day and this is game of the year/century/ever - its amazing! Elements from KOTOR and planescape with some new twists its like heaven lol! KOTOR and planescape torment were 2 of my fave games ever and this combines the best of both.

It's been quite a few years since the last time I've been so enthralled in a game

Loving it so far, the only criticism I have is that the tactic options are so complicated

And yet there is still no options to prevent a mage from friendly firing the whole team

If you want the game to be easy, play on easy, if you want to have to try, just be imaginative and actually think before spamming aoe.

To me it seems realistic, why do your friends become magically immune to being set on fire? or are you using "special" fire than only hurts "bad people"?

Rather stupid when you think about it.

I always hated that you could turn off frendly fire in other RPG's.
Lets be honest, if a big ball of fire explodes in your face, ITS GONNA HURT :D

Not really.

IF condition
THEN reaction

Just read all your characters skills and decide they're best application.

It's all about learning each classes strengths and weaknesses - best way to do it this is to play-through the same area 4 times controlling a different character each time.

Surely that would be incredibly boring, easy & make you look very, very simple.
