I think you'd get a better answer if there was a price up there...

I've had bad experience with Medion and their customer support so I wouldn't get it myself, but I'd wait til someone unbiased comes along and advises

Price is in the title.

Dunno, for £700 is seems maybe a bit too much for a Medion brand laptop imo. Would probably be better off with a Dell Studio for that money. Deal going on Dell atm for a Studio 15, Dual Core T4300 (still a very good CPU), 4Gb ram, 500GB HDD, Radeon 4570 512mb for £499.99 delivered. Seems very good for that price.

I'd normally be very wary about dropping £700 on a Medion laptop however well specced because of their questionable build quality. But that is a seriously well featured machine. Is it an online only deal or is it also available in-store? If you can grab a play on one in store and it seems ok then I can see why you'd have to seriously consider it.

My fave review site and one of the most trustworthy in my opinion trustedreviews get the odd Medion laptop in for review from time to time and are complimentary about them while advising caution. Might be worth reading some of their reviews before pulling the trigger.

thanks for all your comments.

well i have spoken to medion and got this info from them:

SANYO 6300MAH BATTERY - i,m not sure if this is any good, does anyone know what that means in hours or any info on the battery would be helpful.

also warrenty wise they said if there is no reciept they can trace it via the release date/

also i managed to find it somewhere for £500.00 (friend of a friend has one), so price wise is this any better. not used it by the way.

ram is at full cap they said so no room to upgrade.

thanks
