Unusual sandwich fillings

My daily sandwich for lunch consists of:

  • Wholemeal organic bread (if I can)
  • Two slices of honey roast/cured ham
  • Dijon mustard
  • Four slices of salami/chorizo
  • Coleslaw
  • Sensations sweet chilli crisps
  • Italian-style salad

Now it's not THAT unusual, but you wouldn't find it for sale anywhere. I particularly think that crisps as a sandwich filler are an underrated/frowned upon inclusion, when they shouldn't be.

Now I'm always open to unusual suggestions and flavours that go together surprisingly well, so tell me what ya got...

Next time you have tomato soup, instead of dipping just bread in it, dip crisp sammiches in it. Ready salted is my preference. Oh, and you have to cut the sammich into quarter-squares first.

Oh and before I eat the rest:

Chicago Town Pizza + 2 Slices of toast + Some slices of turkey + Salt & Vinegar Crisps + BBQ Sauce = Best midnight snack ever.

It was something of a drunk idea, basically throw everything we could find in between some toast, and it tasted fantastic. I repeated this whilst sober and it was still great.

Obviously it goes smaller once you squash it all down.

^^^ carbohydrate city up there! Looks kind of amazing though.

There was someone posting about his aluminuim oxide sandwitches the other day I think. Thats a wierd one in anyones book.

I've recently taken to making toast with chocolate spread and loads of salted peanuts sprinkled on top. Mainly cause i had nothing else in the house at the time but it worked!

Ham, C&O Crisps and American Stlye Mustard. NOM NOM NOM. Pretty normal for a non mainstream sandwich. Gonna try the OP's though, looks lush.
