My quickest so far. Quite scruffy in places, finding it hard to string together a perfect lap.

Pad, Manual, ABS, TC and stability off, braking line only.

Depends on the car, but generally it does make a significant difference. The GT3 gains less than the previous weeks Integra. I tried the GT3 with and without, and I'm a good 3 mph faster down the straight if I hold on to the gears longer in manual.

It also helps stability into corners that require heavy braking, and traction on the way out of the corners as you can choose when to shift up.

Pad, manual (no clutch), no other assists.

My best lap of about 700, only had ~10 full clean laps in all that lot, too!

A tough track and car... I can't see how people are going 4+ seconds a lap quicker with the standard car and no tweaked setups.

Finally got a decent lap in. Could probably knock a couple of tenths off but not much more.

Instead of putting down everyone elses opinion, maybe you should try it first? Telling people they must be cheating isn't really the best way to go about things

This is a really tough one for me too!

Widget's opening time is stupendous, I am going to have to work at this to get it into the 1:15's but have discovered my MS pedals are old and in the telemetry the throttle jumps all over the place!

So, opened them up and Hoovered them our, with splash of WD40 and all seems well again, heres hoping I can get more competitive!

For me it's having the patience to start slow and build up speed slowly over many laps, that is the key to getting better. Rushing in hell for leather just causes frustration in uncertified laps.

I'm in the 16's at the moment, so might be able to get into the 15's , fingers crossed

1:17:656... Slow compared to some of you guys, might do a few more laps, ive got a high 1:16 in me, just need to string it all together.

MS Wireless Wheel, All assists off, besides Clutch.

Bah, I tried it admitedly only did three laps and cant get past 1:20. Been skulking through this thread for a few weeks now but havent posted any official times. Alas it will be descember till my wheel arrives and I can start putting in the times.

As I found out in the last round, manual makes all the difference. You have to know how to drive it with a manual, of course... but assuming you can figure that out, on most circuits in most cars the difference will be huge. It jumped me from the back of the pack to... not too far from the front, last time! 'Stick' at it! :rolleyes:

Anyone else having problems with the game freezing on updating leaderboards? well the game doesn't freeze it just sits on that screen for about 5 minutes then continues as normal, but iv'e just checked the leaderboards and my times have not been updated since yesterday?

EDIT: scratch that my times for Catalunya National have not updated since Friday.

If the ghost is distracting at that point youre already too slow? abandon the slow lap and ensure you get a smooth exit and good start for the next flying lap.
