I noticed its on my account. Can i still use it? If so how **** does it last for?
Or was it like the first one where you could only play it for a couple of days?

Not sure about this one. The zombies seem to die easily in this one and having melee weapons meant that when I was hit by a boomer there was panic as I just switched to a melee weapon and kept killing everything?

Maybe as it was a demo the zombies are easier to kill, but I finished it without even breaking a sweat.

Tbh, as I've described it to my friends. Its like going from the first game being atmospheric, moody and scarey like Alien, to becoming like a Simpsons cartoon. Its not scarey and its not hard any more. You dont get a sense of danger or fear.

What level.

That's one level, a daytime level. The other 4 are probably very different, don't judge the game on one small part of one campaign.

I keep thinking that, but the point of the demo is to demonstrate the best bits to get people to buy it no?

Yeah the demo lacks atmosphere with daylight setting, but I think the carnival level will make up for that! I wonder how many more people are going to be scared of clowns after the game is released!

It was a bit short, but I think the mini event to turn off the siren is quite cool. Been playing on expert. It's a genuine challenge. First time I've been forced to move fast, rather than go at it slow with my team mates.

Wasn't impressed at all. Just my opinion, but it doesn't give the awesome feel that l4d had. I didn't like the l4d2 demo much at all, the l4d characters were better and I prefered the art style of l4d. The only thing better is the melee weapons. The guns seem like over exaggerated to appeal to people who are like "ohh! big gun fancy gun! must buy game...."

Will not be buying until it is a lot cheaper.

I love the demo... I'm pretty sure it's set to normal difficulity though, so some of you won't be getting the challange from it you want. The full game on expert will rock though :D

You can vote to change difficulty. I joined a server and it was automatically set to expert. Fun that was.

imo its just has difficult as l4d1 when you play on expert. If you still think its too easy play the full game on expert on realism mode.

Though tbh versus mode is where the fun is to be had, campaign is only good for a couple of runs through each one

I thought it was a bit easy on normal, so tried it on the hardest difficulty and I can't complete it as we always die. If I knock it down a level (one above normal) it's a challenge, but I can finish it. So I certainly don't think it's too easy.

But one thing that does make the zombie rush easier is the machete, just chop away when a horde comes at you and you'll be ok. Where as on L4D, you didn't have that option and had to blast away whilst running backwards.

I'll probably purchase it at some point as you can never have too many zombie blasting games. :)

daylight has made this game so much less appealing, but there's only one daytime campaign so hopefully the others are more fun. Should be getting a nice 4-pack discount so at 2[ it isnt to bad

play the demo a few times, then play l4d1 and notice how much its lacking in comparison to the sequel

I noticed that as well, L4D2 does seem a fair amount better in some ways. Of course the day time level probably wasn't the best level to put in a zombie killing game, but ah well. I prefer these characters to the previous lot, although I miss Zoe from the first. Coach (aka Uncle Phil) more than makes up for it though :)
