Hey guys,

on behalf of a family member, is there a way to track down a car, legally?

Thanks :)
Jake

Tell the police they hit your car and drove off, but you got the plate; then when they find out who it is, drop all charges, apologise to the owner for your tactics, and offer to buy the car back at somewhat more than its monetary worth.

You probably won't be able to buy it back unless you pay the new owner a good amount. How was it modified, like thousands spent on the engine?

Or was it the typical barrymobile, bodykit, beantin and airfilter, set of halfords finest alloys with some linglongs and plenty of chicken wire all over. "Yeah blud, flys now innit"

You can coax the DVLA into giving out the details ,that's assuming they haven't lost them :) Write them a nice letter, then lie a bit, enclose the relevant fee and viola.

Had a custom induction system on it and had been remapped from what I could tell anyway. No it wasn't barried in any way shape or form, was completely standard, asthetics wise.

I said about getting another and she said 'it wouldn't be the same' - So yeah, we want to try and find her old one.

She got rid of it because her poxy bf convinced her it'd be the best thing to do, and he talks more crap than I do (just to give you an idea :p)
