Is there a way of tracking down a car? legally?

Maybe one day you'll have a car worth caring about, btw, no leather dents here ;)

I've cared about all but 2 cars out of my 10 car ownership history.. I just don't publically advertise my 'caring' as much as some.. :)

Glad to hear the leather dent has gone, I'd hate to think of you all wrought up with anguish, god forbid you may start taking your frustrations out on other forum members by being really miserable and antagonistic all the time ;)

Out of interest how was it insured if she didn't know what mods had been done?

She just insured it as you would any other car. It wasn't until a while after having it we decided to actually look under the bonnet and saw the induction system.

It's a Seat Ibiza that was well modified, absolutely flew!

I wouldn't call an induction kit being well modified.

Maybe thats all it had done to it, because if you didn't know it was modded until you looked under the bonnet, id say the car would be mostly standard so I'd tell your sister to buy another one instead of looking for the one she had.

Not reading my posts are you, it had had a remap as well. And you can tell her to buy another one as much as you like it still won't be the 'same' so she'll want the old one back.

Let me guess you opened up the bonnet and saw it had a remap aswell.

Sounds like she wants the mods more than the car. If it was me I'd look for the best looked after car I could find and then look to have the remap done.

So she didn't insure it properly then? I'd just presumed she would have given a full list of mods to the insurance company so the cover was valid and she'd therefore know extactly had been done to the car.
