yeah I got mine today too but you can't play it yet, I'd say for most people in the UK don't expect it to unlock until late afternoon 4-6pm unless of course Steam thinks its better to do it eearlier due to popularity, not bothered myself as long as I get to play it in the evening

All you lot who have bought it, I assume you've bought it for the SP, or are you just hoping that IWnet won't be gash?
i bought it for the single player, as i thought the single player in COD4 was awesome
if MP turns out ok, that will be a bonus too
I don't play COD MP - so yes I've just brought it for the Single Player

Nope both, I have COD4 for serious MP, and MW2 for perhaps just playing through to level 55.
why nobody said that retailers will sell mw 2 only at 12 pm

whats the chances the IW net will crash tonight?
It won't, games are hosted on players computers so they will take most of the strain as to speak, the rest is handled through steam I presume so it should be fine
I bought if for SP and MP and spec op
, in terms of being able to play properly (without lag) I think it will be fine, I think the 9v9 suits the size of the maps so don't bother me much, a shame it didn't have dedi's but oh well, cannot wait till bad company 2 though!!!Really? How annoying! What's the harm in letting people that have it already play it a few hours early? Geez

Gonna wait with buying this until I hear about how IWnet turns out. I am not fussed about the player limits, I only enjoy those 64 player ones when I am drunk anyway

This then suggests to me that the key will work at midnight dependant on territory - so this should mean at midnight tonight for us UK folk, we should be able to play...
