Just found out that PSN will be down Tuesday morning so all you people off work, dirty students, or just lazy gits cant play until 11 am ha ha ha (ok so im jealous i have to be at work :( )
anyway,

PlayStation Network Scheduled Maintenance - Tuesday 10th November


Please be aware that the PlayStation Network will undergo scheduled maintenance this Tuesday 10th November at 0800 GMT. We estimate that the maintenance will finish at 1100 GMT.


During this time, you may be unable to sign in to the PlayStation Network. We expect that users will be affected for only 15 minutes during this period.

They seem to do it in stages which would explain why it works for some people when doing maintenance and not others.
 
Parcelforce came at 2pm and I've been playing it since. Great fun :D Single player is enjoyable and over the top as expected and multi player felt like MW Plus (which is very good).
 
Started on Veteran earlier, really enjoying it so far, the snow level was quality although it felt like it was over in a flash! Always keeps impressing, some of the set pieces are excellent. Starting to get tough now though!

I am pleased about that , that was my only real gripe about some levels of COD4 on veteran the re-spawning , i reckon i will just play through on veteran first time , makes note to myself must not go collect game at midnight and then play through the campaign - sleep needed :p .
 
Well the good news is I'm back in work so I'll be getting MW2 tomorrow morning, I just hope a certain supermarket will have it in stock still!!!!
 
cant believe xxx supermarket. they took my money in august... havent yet shipped it and when i called up today to cancel, they said they couldnt cos it was geting sent out tomorrow...

like wt use is sending it tomorrow?! i could pick it up in store the, nevermind have to wait even longer for it.

they r gonna get a rany email later, i can feel it brewing.
 
My 360 is out of the oven and working again :)

Bad news is I've had a phone call and I've got to go into work tomorrow, sucks. I might head to the supermarket in the morning instead of camping it out at midnight, I just hope it's still in stock come the morning though.
 
Just read an articile on the Guardian's website. It basically says where you can pick up the game from and what price. One of the supermarkets selling at midnight will be busy (my local) and I have got a pre-order there but a quote on the site is making me glad I'm waiting till tomorrow to see if I can get a £26 copy from the other supermarket.

*competitor* is charging £32 for Xbox and PS3 formats and £32.71 for the PC version. It will have the game available from midnight at more than 300 stores. A spokesman said the retailer was expecting queues, with as many as 1,000 gamers expected to visit its Derby store, but he assured customers there was "lots of stock".
