Hi,

I've started playing online poker in the last couple of weeks, on pkr.com (tv advertising clearly works on me - it was the only one i could think of. Plus the 3d was a bit of a novelty at first).

Seeing as i'm actually making a bit of money - touch wood lol - thought I would cash out and swap sites so i can get rake back... (I signed up without any rakeback program, so can't get it on pkr.com).

What is the deal with rakeback? There seem to be loads of sites/individuals on various forums offering deals (mostly around 30%). What are some decent ones to go with?

Also, what is the best site to join? As i understand it, being from the uk i have more options than a typical american. I am thinking of joining full tilt (mostly because it seems popular, multi tables each have their own window (dual monitor setup is being wasted on pkr.com which only lets you see one table at a time...) and there are plenty of HUD software for it (i am thinking of getting holdem manager)

I know this is a computer forum, but i've seen the various ocuk poker tournament threads over the years, and seeing as most poker forums seem US oriented thought id ask in here... I also assume its ok to name poker sites? apologies if it isn't :D

thanks

There are a lot of people who play poker on here so im sure you'll get some good advice soon.
I used to play on partypoker which lets you play at as many tables as you like all open in seperate windows.

Full Tilt offer slightly less Rakeback than other sites (27%) but boast the 2nd largest player pool and by far the best poker software on the web, they get my vote as the best site out there. Sign up through an affiliate such as http://www.rakeback.com/ and you'll get your rakeback payments once a week on a Friday.

Hi,
thanks for the replies. I think i'll join Full Tilt. Seems to get the most recommendations + Holdem manager works with it
