Is anyone going to get it on PC tonight and haven't pre-ordered it? A friend wants me to go with them, they are getting it on the 360. If i do go, i may aswell get it, but if they are likely to sell out on the PC, then i won't go.

Refuse to buy it but will aquire it as soon as it becomes "available"

i love it when people want their games to run at 60fps. the human eye only sees at about 30 fps so if theres bombs and stuff going off next to you and youre stiull running at 40 fps turn it up abit :D
and also who wants to buy a game for 40 squidlies for maybe 10 hours gameplay. if you replay the game a lot good on ya. i played cod 4 about 3 times but that was an amazing game so i doubt theyl be able to crank out another one of those (i dont play single players that much, i tend to break them).
and i said earlier about iw.net breaking, i didnt mean on servers i meant authorising codes etc and the matchmaking stuff. i have a feeling itl break down tonight... cos they always do

I'm just gonna sit on the sidelines and wait to see how the multiplayer side of things on the pc plays out for you guys.

Believe it or not you can tell the difference between a game playing at 30fps and 60fps. A game at 60fps will be much smoother and compliant with fast moving and direction changes than one at 30fps.

honestly mate you cant. what you mean is that when youre moving the framerate drops, that i understand, which is why i put about explosions etc. i meant under full load :D

actually im gonna take that back to some degree your right. depends on the speed of movement
"Tests with Air force pilots have shown, that they could identify the plane on a flashed picture that was flashed only for 1/220th of a second."
so i cheerfully withdraw my comment :D

Mine cost £24 quid.

Also you absolutely CAN tell when an fps is dropping bellow 60 imho. In fact I think 100fps is noticably smoother than 60. 300fps COD is smoother still :p

i edited the post. however ill stand by the fact that its not a fantastically tangible difference. but hey thats the point of pc gaming isnt it? to squeeze every last drop of power out of your rig?
