Edit: I must add that the reasoning for my above statement was the original OP simply contained a link to a YouTube video about the kids programme Zzzap!

It affects everyone, I'm sure you meant "Is the recession affecting you significantly?".

In which case in Ireland student fees were nearly brought in. Which would have royally hurt me. Prices have dropped dramatically which is good. Causal work is noticeably more difficult to find. My Dad is now earning a little less due to an increase in public sector taxes.
 
Well at one point I was working shorter hours and earning the same money, which was nice.

Now it's just back to normal. I also invested at the bottom of the market so did quite nicely out of the bad times.

So I'd say I've had an excellent year all round :D

Although in all seriousness I expect the effects will be long-lasting and I'll no doubt suffer at some point...
 
I would say the recession hasn't significantly affected me, I graduated and got a very good job this year so that's ok. Honestly though I don't have much experience (being only 22) with the sort of things that a recession hits badly.
 
Not at all, infact so far from a purely personal point of view it's been great - the drop in demand for oil sent petrol prices down from the 1.30 a litre peaks (Though back on the way up ahain), deflation is making things less expensive and I applied for and got a job 5 days after finishing Uni.
