Went to my local supermarket bright and early at 7am and loads of oldies in the Queue! few kids and some people in their work suits :D.

I was quite surprised at the Queue, but 20 mins queue to save £19! I think so!

I think Gaming outlets need to up their game, big hit games are nearly always 20-30% cheaper at supermarkets.

their was very low stock though.

could see some people walking out empty handed though, says on the receipt "Cashier confirmed over 18. THINK 25"
 
Got mine from Sainsburys @ 7am this morning, £26 minus the mrs £2.50 voucher = £23.50 :D

The queue was mental, btw, also had security guards on hand as some greedy sods were trying to get 4 or 5 copies at a time......policy was one copy per person.

Shame i've got work today and a pool match tonight :(
 
I don't think I'll ever pre-order a big release.

Not when the supermarkets are tripping over themselves to get the lowest price. A lot of people seem to have been pwned with delivery today too.

Suppose it depends on past experience but I'm too tight. £17 savings! too hard to pass up.

Great game to be honest, got to rank 25 after last nights play. Really good. The bing perk is great (think its called that, 2 attachments for one gun!) not going to say much else as well it was nice finding out all the new things for my self :)

Same here, it just seems silly now to pre order these big hit releases. my local supermarket was packed with people waiting and I get it shrink wrapped as well which is more than I can say for some major retail outlets.

I nearly bought a PS3 also but didn't have the cash on me :\, some really good deals at the moment.
 
Got to a non-24 hour supermarket this morning at 8 on the dot, loads in stock, £26, can't wait to get home from work :)

According to this thread (some many pages back) they're only resetting stats for those who downloaded the game illegally.

If you bought it legit and it got shipped early then you're fine.
 
My stats haven't been reset since I played last night so i'm guessing not.
I have one major problem with multiplayer - spawning then dying instantly.
I've lost count of the amount of times I spawn,take 2 steps and then get killed.There have even been a few times i've not even had chance to move and i'm dead:mad:
 
been playing campaign for about an hour and half and so far im not impressed, it seems like all im doing is walking through the game, 90% of the time it doesnt matter if i kill anyone or not. too scripted in my opinion. its certainly no halo.

i still have faith multiplayer should be good though, will give that a shot in a bit.

What difficulty are you playing it on?

I had it on Hardened and had to keep making pushes, you have to kill people. Play it on Vet...which is what I shall do later. :D

They said ages ago they wanted it to be scripted, because it's the way they want the story to be driven.
