Drunk woman in Boston falls in front of train

I think the driver had pre warning as the red flashing boxes obviously caught the flailing bint and the waving dude. Probably threw on some red lights further down the tunnel or something.

Who let her out of the kitchen anyway!

The red boxes are for object detection, you can set virtual tripwires so when someone crosses a (virtual) line it can sound an alarm, flash the operators screen, all sorts of stuff. It can also detect items that have been left in one place for X amount of minutes/seconds/hours, same goes for objects that have been moved from a certain spot where they should be.

Each manufacturer has a different name for it (Sony call it Intelligent Object Detection - duh!) but they all do the same thing, very clever stuff.
