That should be enough of a warning. :cool:

Well, I just completed it and thought it was great, albeit, not as great as Modern Warfare. There were several great moments in there though, the part where you get to the prisoner and it turns out to be Price! My face was literally like ":eek:". Also, what a fabulous ending... I mean, it was absolutely fantastic. I found myself shouting "Go on Price! NO!! YESS!!! GO ON, GET HIM!" Then when you pull the knife out. :eek: Awesomeness. :cool: But again, it just didn't feel quite as awesome as the ending to Modern Warfare, and by the looks of the ending, Modern Warfare 3 will not be too far behind.

What did everyone else make of it?
 
Will read the OP once I've completed :p But I will give my current take on the SP - it's fantastic :D I've just finished the favela missions and there have already been so many times where it has just blown me away! The bit where you fall and Soap doesn't catch you was another great moment in gaming - you basically had to follow his instructions fast and be as quick as you can, great fun :D

Oh and the snowmobile driving section was better than expected! The jump was a little far-fetched though no? :p I was half expecting the snowmobile to crash into the mountain and you had to climb the rest :p
 
Heh. :p I tell you what, if you thought the part where you jump off the roof was awesome, oh boy are you in for a treat. ;)

And three hour days are awesome on the release day of COD. :D
 
Decent game, but I find the part where you kill innocent civilians in the airport disturbing and disgraceful, with all the **** going on in the world, to go this far, it is not on, game should be recalled and have this crap taken out.

Really? I'm still not sure what my opinion on it is to be honest... I was expecting it to be worst to be honest as the media seemed to blow it out of proportion - but I agree it is still quite graphic - In my opinion, I feel it was at least right of them to give you the option on whether or not you wish to skip it.

Just completed it :D Truely epic game! And yet another awesome ending :) I enjoyed the credits aswell haha :p
Hoping there will be a Modern Warfare 3 to continue on from it :) Very much looking forward to that :D
 
I'm loving it so far! Finding it very different from my most played game, Team Fortress 2 though :p I have trouble seeing all the little green men hiding in bushes n shiz, I'm used to a Heavy eating a Sandvich!
 
single player gameplay I found to be excellent.

Story - incredibly bad, mainly because it shouldn't be it has all the locations and the epicness to make a fantastic story but they messed it up and didn't really explain anything.
 
Seeing as spoilers are allowed...

Can someone please explain how Russia managed to sneak up on the US and how troop transport helicopters managed to get to there.
 
I just completed it and thought it was awesome. It really picked up after the first few levels. Looking forward to the next MW. :D

I was so surprised to see some good old faces like Price once again. I also quite enjoyed the missions in and around the White House. The Snow missions were good but I wish there were a few more desert missions. Oh and did anyone else find the level in Rio with the alleys and the ambushing really hard? For me that was the toughest part of the whole game. :o

Time for me to have a look at Spec Ops and MP. :D

EDIT: We never got to get Makarov or did we? :o

It was fun but it wasn't a patch in MW1.

Price turning up... as soon as I realised we were off to get a prisoner from a nasty Dungeon I guessed it was him. Not exactly original. The whole Russia sneaking up on America and having that sort of military strength sitting on their doorstep waiting to pounce was a bit daft as well. Price managing to waltz onto a sub and fire nukes was also silly, but heck... the man is a bit of a legend.

But like I say the game was still brilliant fun if a bit short :).

Just completed it today and normal and loved it, quite challenging in places i thought though.

Loved defending the data in makarovs safe house, with all those guns i was like a kid in a candy store and i was shocked at the betryal of sheperd, i was like the ***t!!

Best bit had to be driving the boat chasing sheperd while shooting and dodging everything :D
