Well ok it's been discussed in other threads, but there's not one that's actually dedicated to it and since it's on THIS WEEKEND wooooo hoooooo. Time to start discussing.

Who do you reckon's gonna win? Everyone is going into this with the belief that PacMan is too fast and unstoppable..

I have a different view.. Cotto, won a decision on Mosley. Who is easily as fast as Pacman, and equally as skilled. Plus Cotto is a true welterweight. I think he'll have his hands very busy come Saturday night, yes but I think he'll clinch it.. Pacman is just too small against a true welterweight..He couldn't take down Oscar with a knockout.. This will be the toughest fight of his career.. Sorry but Ricky was way too much of a one dimensional fighter to pose Manny any problems.. Which is why he got KTFO in two. Well actually one !!. Cotto will be a different story.. I like both fighters tremendously, so i'll be cheering for both. It's going to be one hell of a fight.

Originally thought Cotto could pull this off but starting to think otherwise, I don't know how much he has left after the beating he took from Margarito. He looked pretty bad against Clottey and I thought he lost that fight and Clottey isn't great.
Was it an off night? If it was then he could surprise PacMan, if it wasn't then he's ruined and Pac will beat him. If it goes to the cards then PacMan will get the decision, I have no doubt about that. No chance at all that the judges would ruin a possible Mayweather v PacMan fight next year.

Can't really take the Mosley fight in to consideration, he has been terribly inconsistent for years since coming off the juice and even Mayorga (who cannot box) was making him look stupid at times.

Got my money on Pacman to win this...dont think he will destroy Cotto like he did with Hatton but regardless i think Pacman will win this if it goes the full 12 rounds...i hope it doesnt as i want to see Pacman knock him out:D

Looking forward to watching this.

Yes i agree, if it goes to a decision, Pac-man will get it, unless he gets knocked down a round or two...

No-one looks good against Clottey though. He's too much of a mauler. I thought against Margaritto, he was looking extremely sharp and was much further ahead on points.. Except those illegal wraps eventually took their toll on his head.. Look what happened to Margaritto without his secret little weapon. K'd TFO

I agree with Smit, before he was beaten up by Margarito, I thought he would have had a good chance.

I now think that Pacman's pressure will tell and he could stop Cotto late on.

I have followed Cotto for quite a while now and prior to being beaten by Margarito i would have backed him all the way against Manny, but he doesnt seem to have bounced back the way i exected him to.

However this is his one chance to try and beat the number 1 fighter in the world (P4P) so i suspect we will be in for a hell of a fight.

A couple of pro's and cons for me would be:

Cotto Pro's: Hard Hitter, natural weight Cotto Cons: Suspect Stamina late on and he cuts

Manny Pro's: Endless Stamina, Lightning fast Manny Cons: Is he strong enough to fight a natural welterweight?

My heart is backing Cotto, my head is backing Manny, however i do like both fighters immensely and i hate to see either of them lose.

I think Cotto is gonna prove too powerful for Pacman and KO him late on. I think early on Pacman will dominate the rounds with his speed, but I think at times they will stand toe to toe and trade and I see Cotto coming out on top. Looking forward to a spectacular fight. :)

Think Pacman has the edge myself and is getting better and better, personally think he is the only boxer who has a chance against Mayweather in the current climate.

I don't think he has tbh. I think Mayweather will beat him without much difficulty. I don't rate Pacman that much higher then Marquez (I rate both very highly) but we all saw what Mayweather made of him.

I think Mayweather will have more difficulty against a powerful natural welterweight such as Mosley or even Williams. Mayweather - Pacman would be awesome to watch just to see who is faster and who can cope best with the others speed but I can't see Mayweather losing that.

True but he looked worse than just 'not good' against Clottey. I hope he can pick himself back up and give it a good go since he is by far the most dangerous opponent PacMan will have faced so far (mainly because of size and power)

To be fair to Margarito, how much of his mind would have been on the fight after being caught. All his focus would have went straight out the window I would imagine. Also the fight was in California I believe and rumour is it was held there because of less strict drug testing and we all know Mosley is a known cheater too. If I made the rules, Margarito and Mosley would both be kicked out of boxing for good.

Its the one I want to see, will be a great fight and the media hype will be immense.
