So who else was installing at 00:01 last night? lol :D

Completed the SP compaign and I have to say I'm very impressed, it beats COD4 SP hands down. The weapons are great as well, some welcome additions, SCAR-H, ARC etc. Very replayable as well.

Just going to give the MP a go.

have u had any sleep yet:eek:

Quoted again in the hope that it gets seen amongst the bellends arguing over **** all.

I would say that the single payer is similar to COD4 story wise(obviously as it follows on) but with better weapons and much better graphics (maxed out).

Some nice things in the SP like on the snowy mission, but won't spoil it. I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I would say that it beats COD4 simply due to the fact that it is the same as it, if not better in gameplay, and tons better in graphics (Dare i say, some of the Favela scenes remind me of Far Cry 2 style graphics?).

On to the MP. I haven't had any problems at all so far. As soon as i press Find Servers, it does it and i am in. I am doing quite well online, better than i thought as i'm used to the 360, so that is good. Also the graphics for the MP are very nice too. Good explosion physics etc. The blood effect is a nice addition too. Some kill streak perks are annoying, such as the guided missile, but yea, all in all, a good MP experience.

Now, which is better, SP or MP. I'd have to say that both have their strengths, and very big ones at that. I am thoroughly enjoying both at the moment.

The only problem that i have seen so far is that, i am already near the end of ACT II (out of 3) of the SP campaign after around 2 1/2hrs play time. Oh and also, the mic capability doesn't seem to be working in MP yet?

Any more questions? ;)

Thanks, steam would be a creditble source wouldnt it, you have to have it running to play MW2?

17k isnt a lot :o

Although, the Single Player and Multiplayer are listed as 2 seperate "games".

29,360 29,360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
17,360 17,360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer

Still early morning in some parts of America and only mid morning in others.

All i know is that there are enough playing to join an online game when you want to. That's good enough for me.

Anyone managed to invite their friends into a game yet? And does it search through your Steam friends list for people playing MW2? I don't have any friends............that have MW2 (;)) and when i click Invite, nothing happens. I assume that is why?

That is superb! Thanks

SP campaign from COD4 was quite short though. Like 6 hours it took me and I wasn't on easy I know that much. Having said that I sat there addicted to it all weekend!

Mate, this one may be just as short for you then. I am playing it on regular as im used to the 360, and although i am dieing quite often, i fear that i may well complete it in around 2 more hours. Unless ACTIII is much longer? Which i doubt. Apart from that, it is great. Spec Ops may add a few more hours gameplay, not too sure.

Sounds like all the early adopters will have finished the SP by the end of the weekend at the very latest, even allowing for weekend car washes, kids trips out etc :p

Ah well, wonder if the MP figures increase on Steam much?
